How do you match the color of your blush to your skin tone?

Blush should not be too obvious. It should

make you appear as if you are, well, blushing!

It should add a hint of color. If you look in the

mirror and first thing you notice is your cheeks,

that's bad!

Pale Skin-

Light pinks w/ gold flecks (optional).

Light Skin-

Still pink, but with a hint more orange or red.

Tan skin-

Rose blush.

Olive Skin-

Darker rose blush

Dark Skin-

Plum or mullberry blush.

Deep Skin

Deep plum blush. How do you match the color of your blush to your skin tone?
When ever you pinch your cheek, that's the color your blush should be. Not a big pinch, but a light but not too light pinch....i hope that helped..... Report Abuse

I take the samples at the store and dab a little on my hand %26amp; rub it in. then i can tell if it matches my skintone. And you?...
Pale skin can go with natural pink, lighter ';Peach'; colour, darker skin would need a darker blush....you just have to think ';the lighter your skin is the lighter blush you would need';

try pinching your cheeks and you have this natural pink shade that will appear, that is usually the colour of the blush you'd need to match your skin.
Try a bronzer, they are usually a good match for most skin colors. If you aren't sure test colors on your hand. The lighter the skin the lighter the blush, the darker the darker... etc. Just play with it, there are a lot of places that have testers, test away until you find what works for you.
