A bright pink or coral will really give you a fresh look. I know it sounds scary, but use a huge fluffy brush and apply it only to the apples of your cheeks and blend really well and it won't look clown-like.
loreal HIP makes some great colors. try a coral, almost orange-gold and also a deep mauve. light colors don't work well. trust me!..add a gold-toned bronzer at the apples of your cheeks.
