What are your accent colors in the living room and dining room? Do you have an open floor plan, or is every room separated by doors? If you have an open floorplan, then you will want colors that give a sense of flow and continuity to your spaces. If they are all separated by doors, then you can chop it up a bit, if you wish and paint it in one of your accent colors. I personally like the idea of flow and continuity, so would go for a pale taupe/mushroom in the kitchen as a 2 color faux finish - the second color being in your peach or in a cream. You can use a two roller technique with this, or a reverse sponge technique to give it a cloudy look - this would give it a look of space, interest and flow while also hiding, to some extent, any dirt or splashes that inevitably happen in a kitchen.Painting dining room a peach blush type of color, living room is tan, what color should i paint the kitchen?
